      <content:encoded><![CDATA[This ship’s hull was built in the early ‘80s by D.W. Fluegel, it was resurrected in ~2004 by Tim Beckett.  I got it from Tim in 2009, as part of that deal I asked him to convert it to 1/44th scale as it was originally built in 1/150th scale.  I outfitted the hull over the winter and battled it in 2010, with rather poor results. Well, it’s been a long time coming, but here it is. This is the USS Idaho I started on Jan 20, 2019.  She took 19 months to get on the water, and has had her first post-combat refit.<br />

This was my first scratch built combat ship. The Nassau is an extremely short tubby boat at 39.92” x 7.42”. It has the 3 shaft 2 rudder setup that gives the best turning in the hobby.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[HMS King Edward VII built from one of Mark Jenk&#039;s laser-cut kits. In the IRCWCC she gets 3.5 units so I have her outfitted with 3, 1-unit cannons and a half unit pump. I have the guns arraigned in dual bows and a stern sidemount.  This gives the ship maximum offensive capability but with a half unit pump I have to be careful how much damage she takes.<br />
