      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Had to put my WW1 dreadnoughts on the shelf for the time being. Surgically repaired back started acting up last May at a Midwest meet. It hasn&#039;t gotten better since and now having issues with my foot (feet). Sucks getting old!!!<br />

Gotta. Get lighter and faster until I physically feel better. Working on a King Edward VII and a Prinz Eugene for battling next year. Going to keep pushing!

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Well finally got a small physical issue almost rectified (hand injury) and am getting some work done on the Orion. The Markgraf just needs to be sheeted but will be good to run a different ship this year. Nothing high tech, just fun. <br />

One of the bigger complaints we have had concerned the range in our speeds. The below chart shows the results of those discussions.<br />

So what we do is have our speeds grouped in 2 knot per second increments instead of 1 second increments. Here would be the breakdown:<br />

I&#039;ll be starting the day after Memorial Day and will hopefully totally move by the end of June...or whenever the house sells. Looks like I may be drydocked for the year but am going to try working some things out with Ducky (Scott) to see about hosting an even later this year. Man will that be a burden off the finances and my mind!!! Anyway, we&#039;ve been having building sessions at Scott&#039;s place for the past few months and from talking to the guys it looks like we should have a strong showing this year. Everyone is working on their ships and should be good to go this season.<br />

As per conversations I have had with the membership, the Treaty Conference will be held on October 16, 17 &amp; 18th in Xenia, Ohio With the Midwest guys are having their big event the last weekend of September and I really didn&#039;t think we wanted to interfere with them. <br />
