Gorgon will be battle ready on May 22. All I have to do is install the bigger props and pump outlet for IRCWCC specs. Bob
OK guys, the weekend is almost here. I would just like to verify who is going to around on Sat. Steve C and myself are in and we need someone to shoot at! J
I'm unexpectedly on call this weekend so will not be battling. However, between calls from the hospital I'll be home making the first I-400 hulls. Might be able to finish 2 with Monday being a holiday. The first hull goes to Jay. Bob
I will be there, but will probably be late. There is an indoor yard sale being held Saturday to raise money to pay for Mindy's veterinary bills. Mindy is that poor dog who was shot twice and attacked with an axe in Labrador and brought here for medical treatment. It will be held at Station 59, Bay Road Fire Hall, 4408 St. Margarets Bay Road, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Read more: http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia/story/2010/05/19/ns-mindy-dog-home.html#ixzz0oYt5aLkw J
I was in town all last weekend with 2 new models and it was canceled. After reading the treaty forum there was enough ships ready to go. John, Bob, Jay, the 2 Steve's and Paul. Sorry if I missed anyone else. Seems like not too much is going on down in Halifax. As I will be back and forth alot this year I was hoping to get several battles in this year, have to wait and see I guess.
We are going to try to get out this weekend, weather permitting. As of now it is supposed to rain. John, Steve C and me are going out and everyone else who wants to go. This is the first post wrt this weekend. More to follow soon. J
OK, it looks like Sat. is the day without rain (so far) and the plan is to be at the Grove at 10 am ISH, time may move to the right depending on the weather too. It will be a great day to bring out the boats, blow off the winter dust, do sea trials etc. And we can guarantee that no one will shoot at anyone else on purpose unless they get shot at first, but there will be cannon testing going on... If there are any changes, I will put them here. Post if there are any problems. J
Well, the weather did it to us again. We were unable to get the boats in the water so we had an impromptu, mini build session. Steve repaired his rotate on Nagato (oh wonderful!!!!!) and I worked on the deck of ISE, with John 's guidance. It wasn't what we were hoping for, but there were guys working on boats so it was all good. We don't know when we wil get out, the Nova Scotia sunshine is supposed to keep up for the week. We shall see, J
