I did some testing with the BC small pump I am planning on putting in my Belleau Wood. As Treaty has some special needs based on our pump flow restrictions, this information probably won't be overly useful to the small gun crowd. For a treaty cruiser with a .75 GPM pump, the BC small pump on 7.2 volts simply can't be beaten. With the stock 1/2 unit small gun restrictor, this pump was SPOT ON for my 3 quarts per minute. For grins, I ran the test with a 1.0 unit small gun restrictor and filled my test basin with a gallon of water to test the viability as a battlecruiser pump which under our rules is 1.0 gallons per minute. With the 7.2v battery, this pump averaged between 1 and 2 seconds too slow to be spot on at a gallon per minute. As I have been giving serious thought to converting my Invincible to a 7.2v system and ditching my 6v system, this pump being so close to what my needs would be is very tantalizing.
