I ll just kick the crew off too! haha. If it was messy I wouldnt be able to find anything. especially when pieces of my boat are everywhere.
I just took pieces of 1x2 and cut out the shape of the hull in two of the pieces and then put it all together. I added legs to it. But you dont have to. It has come in handy so many times this year!
Alex, that's cool! i was thing about that for both my LST and My Andrea Doria!!! So bismarck only has four cannons and two pumps huh, i was thing with your gruop she's a class 7!!! Nikki
I guess they changed her to a class 7 this year. But Im too lazy to change things around. plus there are 4 1/2 cannons
still too lazy for that. I have a good setup right now. I think I would be more effective if I mastered what I got rather than putting more on.
Alex, He's still a great ship! But Like i keep telling people, you know to know his history to really respect the ship!!! Nikki
The history of the Bismarck: Built. Sortied. Got a lucky shot. Lost pursuers Admiral in charge foolishly discards the value of radio silence. Re-located. Hit by a golden torpedo. Hunted down by British battleships and made a floating wreck. Scuttled by own crew.
Nick I think you forgot to mention the British turning the Bismarck into a burning inferno before she was scuttled. A decent enough ship in the hobby, but militarily a waste of material in real life.
Guys, I would go that far! But She should not have been allow out like she was!! she was totally on her own!!!!!!!!! Nikki
[admin hat on] This has gotten a bit away from the build update, let's keep it on topic please. Thanks!
This is what happens to Bismarcks who sortie alone! Alex - on topic, are you planning on playing with your rudder linkage this winter? Moving to gears for better throw?
Nick, that's a great photo! Alex, is he going to get any TLC, this Winter, as far as upgrading anything? Nikki
her sister ship the tirpitz is being built and could be operational by april two bismark class ships on the water togeather will be cool, dont think even the germans every had them sortie togeather. Beware of the "Spurt Gun".....30 BB Blast at once....then run for the hills....K class "Spurt Gun Boat"
I don't think Bismarck and Tirpitz ever sortied together. As the Bismarck's famous sortie was before Tirpitz was fully combat ready, and hence why Tirpitz didn't go with. I'm not so sure I am looking forward to the two of you guarding a cargo ship. Its going to be hard to get around you to get a shot in on the little maru with two floating walls guarding it. Looking forward to seeing the new improved Bismarck, and new Tirpitz on the water.
