Well I am pleased that Captn Jack Sparrows USS NORTH CAROLINA KIT from STRIKEMODELS.COM has finally arrived. The box is much taller than me because in it is a deck kit for the USS NJ hull that is currently in Fredericton NB. Before I open it up I will be getting the camera ready to take pics and do a kit review under the Product review Thread. However the build of this ship will be here on this thread. Craig is outfitting this for combat for his new club in NB and I believe this will be the flagship of the club for promoting the hobby there so I have my work cut out for me as I will be building this one for him. I hope to see Craig join me and Tom and Paul to attend a IRCWCC Nats in the near future to bolster the Allied strength to take down the Axis. What.. you didn't know I could talk both sides of my mouth? No worry I still have plenty of Axis blood in me which was shed at the last IRCWCC NATS in 2010. Should be an interesting build. Cheers.
I will incorporate all the latest I have learned and avoid the errors of my ways from previous builds. Other wise I will be faced with some of the guide lines that Pirates use from time to time.
