Wow that's a nice read. How's the Iowa coming???, your fellow allied captains would like to know. 4 months to spring regionals and counting.

4 months??? Sounds too short, how about 18 weeks? or 130 days? or 3120 hrs? or 187,200 minutes and let's not forget 11,232,000 seconds.
My fellow Allied comrade (at least for this year) the IOWA is soon to under go "FLAW" recovery. Which pretty much means fix all the reasons it didn't make a battle at NATS. I guess I better keep my superior Admirals informed by regular progress reports.

4 months, no pressure [:D] Look forward to seeing her. I build all my ships with what kept them out last time, one year pump failure, 40 minute navy seals recovery, one year no rudder, water retaining box, ect. She's gonna be a winner!

Wow that logbook brought back many memories for me. I found my old log books for my Veneto and Bismarck and the early days of battle with a Young Nabs. Geez I'm that old but hey the ships are still with me.
