Found THIS. Kinda hard to get, but not impossible. Going to assemble it and take close-ups for those building from the free plans to see what the SS looks like, and see the topside details. Even in 1/96, it's a gawdawful tiny boat. Since I can't work on boats inside at night, I'll get it together and try to draw some plans for basic 1/96 SS from the 1/400 model.

I have a 1/700 resin model, very tiny.

It's doable in 1/144 with an accumulator-powered 1/4-unit spurt gun, but I have enough on my plate at the moment :)

Come on Tuggy.... it's a small boat...... how long could it possibly take!?

I think It's quite do-able too. I have to resist my urge to start on it or something else until I finish at least one of the boats I've started.

I am definitely finishing the Scharnie overhaul and the Edgar Quinet build and the Othar re-build before I embrace anything new. Fortunately, Scharnie is going to be combat-ready (short of sheeting cause it's gonna be cold outside) by the end of this weekend, and Edie will be doggone close, even if the SS will be... rudimentary. Cannons are ready, gas system parts are on hand, batteries, drive stuff, and ESC are ready, rudder is in (and it's a huge one, scale size and shape). Got to finish the pump and trim up the hull a little at the stern. Soon I will be ready for the spring battling season, including the loner boat!
