My name is Toby. I’m from Idaho. Just wanted to say hi! I hope to build a Bismarck with big gun cannons! Hope I can meet someone who can help me out. This is my first time attempting an RC model. Below is a model USS Arizona I have just recently finished.
Hi and welcome. Is there a big gun club in Idaho? There may be a Fast gun club. Although big gun is more realistic, it also is more complicated and more expensive. Guns are also had to source (we're working on it). Fast gun is much more widespread and has a yearly Nats (sounds awesome, never been there). If there is a Big gun club in Idaho, go ahead and join them. However the only Big Gun clubs I know of are in Virginia, California (where I am), Texas, or Australia (please tell me if there are more). I'm not trying to say it's bad, it's just very not easy. That being said this hobby is very fun. Meet with a local club and they can help you get everything you need. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A CLUB IN IDAHO HELLO? P.S. I was a static modeler to and your Arizona is really nice. I especially like the weathering.
