Hello everyone, has anyone done any work with Coast Guard related cutters such as 418' national security cutter, or any other medium/high endurance cutter. Thinking about trying my hand at something along those lines. Any info would be appreciated.

I haven't seen anything about stuff that modern. As far as coast guard stuff.
But there was a fiberglass hull available from Canada some time back for a Wind class ice breaker.
I am not sure if that hull is still available. But it was a very nice hull.

Ralph Coles makes the wind class hull, not modern, but they were used as coast guard ships on both sides of the border. If you want his email just pm me.

If you are interested in older ships and want to scratch build, I have the booklet of general plans for the Barneget class ships. They were seaplane tenders in WWII and were used as USCG high endurance cutters after the war.

Thanks for the reply everyone, I'm going to do some research on the Barneget class, and go from there. Might end up just going for something else, not sure yet will keep you all posted thanks again.
