Hi i just joined this forum. I have been interested in R/C warship combat for a while and found this forum. I hope to start working on a ship for non combat as soon as im back to work after the stay at home order clears and I'm working again to afford this.

Hi I’m also from MN. We have a battling group here in the Twin Cites. We typically battle in Chanhassen. You can check out our web site at portpolarbear.com. We have a local email list I can add you to that will keep you update on our events. Assuming we can battle we will have one Memorial Day Weekend.

Sounds like fun. I am more interested in building a scale Rc warship than the combat aspect but its still an interest.

Huh, quite interesting. I was in your position when I joined this form as well, 2 years later and my first non combat ship has been nearly complete for almost a year now. Welcome!

Thanks again for the Scharnhorst! It’s been a great learning experience and there is so much I will do differently next time! What’s the current state of that South Dakota? I’ve been thinking about it lol.

Thanks for the welcome. I can't wait to start on a build when I'm back to work.

So Dak is still in the basement. There’s been a couple people pretty interested but nothings happened yet.
