Downsizing yes because for provincial and international travel the smaller ships are easier to transport and less expensive to setup and operate. I enjoyed using the PE and Warspite. I got the big ships setups down pat so I like to try the smaller ships and see what I can do there. I still have a couple of big ships to build KGV, and Tirpitz. Richelieu I would love to build and Dunkerque and of course NAGATO. Scharnhorst is looking good too. I am setting up my Bismarck for Combat X along with my smaller ships. Curt
I too maybe setting up Vanguard for Combat X but time will tell and Tirpitz will be an easy change over.
Chris make sure you have Tirptiz's bugs ironed out and the model is operating 100 percent. What you learn from Tirpitz will be priceless when you begin to build Vanguard
Curt, can you do a build thread on the VDT, really indepth. It would be a great help to me, as im thinking of purchasing one, and am still a rookie?. Thanks alot.

Chris, absolutely. I would need the plans as well, but am wondering about the weight of it on a small cruiser. We should do a few checks first. Could you scan or photocopy the superstructure plans and send them to me? I can put together a pile of cintra and check the weight. It would suck to have it all built and then find it is too heavy. BB's are no problem. J
What I will do is bring the plans with me when I come down and will make a copy for you to use, I have to get ahold of Steve Hill to get a copy of his Vanguard plans and some secondary turrets for Vanguard.
