    HI everyone its been great knowing you guys my brooklyn didnt come so I got a ps3 and left the hobby dont know if I will be on the site much more so bye guys.:(

    Ben, one of the great things about this hobby is that it will still be here in a couple of years when you want to check it out again. If you keep a watch on the mwci website there is a list of upcoming events. Maybe you can make it out to observe one.

    I should have checked in here earlier. The Brooklyn kit did not ship because I received a call telling me to cancel the order.

    Curses sorry Stephen that was my mom I got sucked in to the world of Black ops. Now I am back here wondering in the world of the rc hobbie.

    Sadly, I had a death in the family, so i have no choose but to put my Andrea Doria on the back burner, My LST is my only ship that i can have up and running come next year!!! Other then Brooklyn, what other ships do you like????

    The USS North Carolina yeah I'm back. Also I like the USS Atlanta yeah can't get enough America.

    I'm gonna try to buy a already made ship because I have no idea what so ever how to build one.

    An argument against doing that - you're going to spend a lot of money probably and have no idea how to fix it when something breaks. Do you have any semi local clubs you can get involved with / learn how things work / borrow a ship?

    No I, the closest guy is about 20-40 minutes away. But it looks like he doesn't have many finished small ones (no offense Ron) but I will probably waste money trying to make it.

    Lol, 20-40 minutes? Dude, this is a hobby with roughly 1500-2000 members in all formats TOTAL on the planet. Some in Australia, England, etc. Having someone in the same STATE is a huge benefit you should take full advantage of.
