Hello all, Got a request to do a Fusion 360 screen share/voice chat session tonight to help explain some basic processes in how I get from nothing to a printed model. For those who don't know, this is the link to the unofficial IRCWCC/RCWC discord channel: https://discord.gg/SJSqRGujsJ Expect the session to start around 8:30 PM EST. Discussion topics will be how to slice up a body to fit your printer, printing best practices, things to avoid when designing for 3d print, and of course all of these topics will be coming from my completely unqualified opinions. DISCLAIMER: I have no official relationship with the IRCWCC or RCWC forum. I am not a very "correct" person. I have some family unfriendly vocabulary. By joining this session you accept any and all risk to being exposed to any and all, but not limited to: Political jokes Inappropriate memes Bad language 3d design processes and methods that would make actual engineers cringe Hope to see you there.
I dont know if I can record it, discord is pretty finicky as it is with live streaming. I'll see what can be done. I already have a hour + long video on how I do things in F360 posted up here on the forum.
Had a good time chit chatting with boat folks and hopefully showing some new tricks. There was an expressed desire for maybe relatively regularly discord chat/screen share sessions. I can't promise I can schedule it reliably, but I'll try to set aside time to do 1 a month. We'll see how that plays out. I'll post up in here and in the main discord general chat channel if/when we do another.
