Hey everyone. I have a Strike model Missouri hull. It doesn't come with molded in skegs so does anyone have any suggestions or pictures on the best way to make skegs for this hull.?

I would make up the skegs by going glass cloth over some lightweight foam or balsa to get the shape and then graft it to the bottom of the hull

Plywood and Bondo should be easy enough

Both are good options and both materials I have. I did cut out some foam sections of the skegs sized so that I could align the shafts correctly. I was thinking of instead of just bulding a solid skeg then try and drill through it to insert the stuffing tube what about making 2 halves and laminate them together over the stuffing tube.
SO far I have one stuffing tube just laid in place but I got the angle and placement correct. I don't want to install it permanently till I get the skeg figured out.
    Thanks for the help.

I'm a fan of installing the stuffing tubes, and then building the skegs around them. There are probably 50 different valid ways to do this :)

That's what I plan to do Tugboat. Once I get the stuffing tubes linedup I'll build the skeg around the tube. I did the same with Bismarck and it works great. No issues with it and they been attached since 1997.

When I bought my Strike Models Iowa-class from Bob Amend in the summer, the skegs and stuffing tubes were already done for me: it appears that Bob installed the tubes first, and then built the skegs around them. The craftsmanship is really good on them, too; very solid, well-integrated parts of my ship's hull.

You are most welcome, good sir. She's coming along nicely, albeit slowly.
