    Depends what nats you go to. In the MWC you need to buy a membership that is you insurance. In the IRC you buy a membership and separate insurance. Costs are about the same. Then you need to pay a battle fee to cover cost at the battle. Items like drinks CO2 food site rental shirts awards tents tables...
    MWC membership is $50. Nats fee is $150? I should remember I'm the treasurer.

    So basically, you must be a member of a particular club to battle in its Nationals. Not too onerous.
