The VU is for the GF. She really misses operating the PE of Paul's. I been liking the Dunkeque for a long time. Nice French ship.

Ok I sent off a reply to Ralph to let him know that I am not going to get the Iowa hull from him at this time as I have a full Missouri KIT on order from Strikemodels. However I let him know that I am placing the order in for the VU hull with 4 turrets and an order for the Strausberg.. yes a FRENCH ship. Thats 2 orders instead of the original 1 and 2 hulls Ralph can sell to me instead of the one. I could have got the hull for the Iowa cheap because of the blemishes on the hull but I think I will get that from Ralph next year if it's still available and use that hull for combat. By then I will have a good idea how to build the superstructure using the Strike models kit as a reference point to get the basic shapes. Ralph's hull as built in skegs and the underside of the stern below the WL is flat so rudder placement will be easier and the ship should turn better. I like that idea to have 2 ships I really really like as I have with Bis and Tirptiz. Bis is my battler Tirpitz will be my runner.

More projects than I can handle but I am making progress.
