Ok here are some pics of the KGV class battleship hull being prepped. I still have to drill out the holes in the corners of the panels before I cut the hull out.

    PT1

Here is one set of plans that I am using. I have another that has the supertructure laid out section by section.I just need to resize it from 1/128 to 1/144.

The KGV hull is a Swampworks hull.

Using Painters 1/4 in masking tape masking of the hull begins.

Bow shot. The masking is completed. Next step is to drill out the holes.

Hi. Well what a day yesterday. Sunny but cold and my butt is friggin sore sitting down on the hard grass. I got the POW cut out. Just need to pop out the panels between teh gunwale and the armor belt. The hull cut fairly easy. That was just one of the hulls. I cut out 4 Hulls yesterday. The others were Konig, GrafSpee, Von DER Tann. 10 dremel cut off wheels later and I looked like a GREY SNOWMAN.

I will post these here tomorrow.

I got the tape peeled away also on this hull. Frame cleanup and marking out the shaft entry for cutting is next.
