A new ship i stumbled apon on the-blueprints.com I wanted to know If this ship is alowed in the club and how many units this ship would be here's a link http://www.the-blueprints.com/modules/bpview/bpview.php?nr=4117
if you look at the ship list http://www.modelwarshipcombat.org/shiplist.shtml you would see that the Florida is there. but its a class 4 with 4 units and is 58" long and speed is 28 so problay not very manuverable so other than if you really like this ship i dont think it would make a good combat ship but i could be wrong
Personaly i think the ship looks very nice. but definately a scratch build job... unless someone sells a kit for it...
I do not think anyone makes a Flordia. It has only a single rudder, and would not manuver well. For a 1st ship, I would suggest not doing a ship on the extreams- So stay away from those extreamly small, slow or large. While most ships can be built and battled with some degrees of success, a rookie is likly to have therir hads full learning the ropes, without extra challanges.
For a first ship, you are probably going to be best served with a Von der Tann, Moltke, Invincible or Indefatigable. 4 unit battlecruiser and 26 seconds all. For ease of building, I'd probably pick Moltke and Indefatigable as the picks of the litter. Mike D
