The Yamato project will continue over the winter. The weight and size of the model makes it wise to get it done sooner than later as the later it gets the older I get. Mega pounds will get harder to move around. One of my favorite ships of all time.

Any ideas on how to do the hull without the use of 2 stringers?

I took some more pictures this afternoon. They are new pictures that look like some of the old ones.

Portside view with First Mate Willie doing what he does when I'm out in the shop.
I get the shop back this weekend. Daughter was to have moved in to her first house last weekend but, there was a problem with some paperwork and the weather was too good. They are moving Saturday. 50% chance of showers.

Port bow. I am thinking of sanding down the armor belt to ease sheeting. I added 7, yes 7 layers of cloth and resin inside the hull to make up for the material that would be lost during sanding.

For some reason a number of the pictures I took have not loaded properly. I'll try to post more later.

I tried to upload more pictures but, there is some sort of problem in my file area. The last 16 or so come up blank with just a red X. I sent Justin the info. He should be able to figure it out.
    Thanks,
