LOL already had the plans scaled to 1/96 ;) and 1/144 because Anachronus said it couldn't be done, too :)

I'll work on it while my epoxied-on planking on Roma is curing. Actually, that's small enough that I could do it inside without the wife complaining!

Scale weight will be rediculously low; real life weight was 79 tons std, 100 tons full load. Anyone got a scale weight calculator?

Talking about displacement tons or actual tons?

    That's displacement.

    2.25 oz for the 1/96 80' Elco
3.25 oz for the 1/96 Schnellboot
If you want to attempt it in 144 then divide those numbers by 3.375. It can be done, but one hit would crush your little boat, ...er boot.

Ah, but MWCI (and I think IRCWCC) allows Class 2 and smaller ships an increase of 25% or 1 pound, whichever is greater, and hull depth can be increased to meet the minimum of 1/2" of freeboard. So, 1 pound 1 ounce for the Schnellboot in 1/144, more or less.

Upon reading the Battlestations! rules, there does not appear to be a weight requirement. There IS a requirement that 1)the ship be as close as possible to scale appearance, and 2) that it floats within 1/2" of the scale waterline. This will be fun :) At this point, the Henri IV thread appearing to have been highjacked, and a project underway (the wood is on my desk in front of me)... I will open my own thread in the Build forum. Schnellboot Vor!
