Decided to deal with the deck on Tirpitz today. I somehow overlooked leaving a lip on the subdeck for the main deck to rest on so i had to get creative. The center will just sit ontop of my citadel box for support the bow and stern im not shure how i will do it just yet. But the NM is catching up.

fix that deck lip issue with a router, bro. you can easily get a deck lip. sure, you'll have to make new deck pieces, but if you do it now, it will be way less painful later. you need a good deck lip. it's not optional.

I can snap photos of what I had to do with Alaska if need be.

So after hours of wracking my brain i couldnt find an easy solution to the problem so i went for the router aka my dremel with an attachment which was just to aggressive so to teach myself a lesson i carved out the top layer of 1/8 ply with an exacto blade and a flathead screw driver lol i wont be forgetting to add a deck lip again thats for shure or atleast not to many more times ;) so the new deck has been cut and just needs some fine sanding to fit now.

Pulling measurements from like 3 references so it should be close enough to get shot up atleast lol.

For the bottom layers that are more subject to combat im doing 2mm wall at 50% infill and the upper at like 1mm @ 20%. I found some old grate baskets and cut them up to finish up the internal armor while i put this little printer to the test haha.
