HMS Puncher - Bogue Class CVT

    Let's play the game called finish line snap-fuck.

    I was at the finish line, pushed my one piece superstructure against the wall and snapped the yardarm which is part of the whole thing. Yay.
    Welded two crown moulding metal staples together gorilla glued re rigged and it's as good as it can be given the circumstances. Dammit.

    Question - Air Det - what was 'normal' for Puncher? I see you've got 8 Martlet and 9 Barracuda.

    Depends on the year, it ferried a lot. Even a helo or two.

    More sanding tonight - switched to 150 grit this time...then another layer of primer. Starting to look smooth!!!

    Had to reprint the flight deck - I was having bed adhesion issues that resulted in the top surface looking terrible.

    Starting to get there...

    I think my colours are off from yours, however, no-one has any colour photos of the actual Puncher to correct me with, so here we are.

    Now working on getting a new set of props/shafts ordered. The ones I ordered from the UK haven't shown up.

    I used sovereign hobbies made from real wwii rn colour chips, so as close to real as possible. Sucks they don't ship to canad though.
