    I use these as well. They drive my Mississippi, Tromp, Steve's Tromp, and soon my Chester. Good motors.

    I don't have a ton of boats that use them but I also have these and like to buy them in 25 at a time :woot:

    Direct drive, others have also used geared

    I’ve used mabuchi motors since I’ve been in the hobby, you can browse their site to check motor stats, the last portion of the part# varies a bit but generally I look for highest power output in the class, then look on eBay and find one with same/similar part# and same rpm
