Sounds good, I'll be thinking of the next project (the Bismarck) but I must admit I am getting a lot of pressure from the Allied forces to remain... Guilt is a terrible thing [] So I might have some time on my hands!
Very cool, id rather you go axis (i might need help). But i know you wont lead me astray in my build, right? just playing. Any way, im thing of moving up a scale in rc combat to Battlestations 1/96th.
Make sure there are people around you that battle it. I imagine the ships modeled are smaller with larger details. Most of the things you are learning will apply to both.
Im thing of a fiji class. its 3.5 inches shorter then a 144th yamato, and 2.5 inches less wide. And the guy Mark on this site is in mass. Look at http://www.rcnavalcombat.com/rcnavalcombat/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2471 You sure you dont want to go bigger?
Thanks for the offer but I have so much tied up in this that bigger is not always better. I am always interested in new stuff so I will check them out and see what they are up to.
She is looking good Rob I certainly have my work cut out keeping up with her. it sure is nice your wife getting you to believe bigger isn't better that is a healthy relationship you have [].I will be getting together with Don in February anything you want me to cast just send it out
Not sure yet when Don gets back from vaca we will set a date but you are always welcome if you and your dad want to just pop up on your own thats fine to I will help you with what ever you need looking forward to having another target I ah mean captain [] on the pond this summer
I cant wait to paint mine up, its going to look really cool. Red and black aarow shapes with a gray background.
I might be able to do a January 24th build day, It looks like my plant is going to start shutting down on slow weekends again. Boomer, that;s the week you wanted, isn't it? If so I will keep everybody posted and we can plan one.
Yes, let's carve it in stone. Bring your stuff and let me know what major project we will be undertaking. I will plan accordingly. I also will invite all who also might want to build with us. I'll make up a topic for this.
Im thinking rudder and shaft placement as the major project. It shouldd be about the same as last time, get there about 11 in the morning and we'd head back about 4. I dont know how much we can get done in that time, but ill bring most of what i have.
easy ones... bring motors, rudders, epoxy, stuffing tubes, shafts, props, blueprints, a fifth of jack...(kidding) and any related items like servos, gears, ect.
I also have the gearbox to assemble, but i might do that before hand. And yea, were going out to get some epoxy this weekend, but other then that, it all comes in the plans.
She look great Rob and I cant wait to blast that stuff off your deck! You shot off my nice aa guns last year lol now its my turn. Plato ( 8 0f 22.5)
