Cannons were stripped this evening. No rust on springs or pins. reassembled and ran the gas. Nice sound of pins dropping. Went to test with the servos but the receiver battery was dead. I will charge over night and test tommorow.Once that is done it and successful it will be painting the deck. Then attach the flag to the rigging. And of course Jack has to take his rightful place at the top. Jack as in Jack the monkey.

Give the Monkey a pistol and he will do fine in a close in slug fest.

I think Jack is more a cutlass monkey than pistols. The PE boarding party :)

Now to complete the paint job on it . I am just waiting for a good day in April to sail test it. Or tub float it earlier.

The lakes are ice free here. I saw someone out by Grahams' grove last night in a canoe. Also they have a dock area built in the section of the grove where we battle.

here are some shots of the superstructure with some repairs to the super structure
[IMG]The superstructure still has to get it's final paint coat and clean up. Just repairing as much damage as possible.

So tommorow I plan on testing the pump. I figure I will fill the inside of the PE and test how long it takes to pump out. Also to test to see if there are any leaks in the balsa.

Try testing it with the model level first, then tilt it port for a test , then starboard , then with the stern up a little to simulate the bow down and do the reverse to simulate the stern down.Great way to know how water flow behaves in your hull.
