Cannons were stripped this evening. No rust on springs or pins. reassembled and ran the gas. Nice sound of pins dropping. Went to test with the servos but the receiver battery was dead. I will charge over night and test tommorow.Once that is done it and successful it will be painting the deck.Then attach the flag to the rigging. And of course Jack has to take his rightful place at the top. Jack as in Jack the monkey.
Servo test this evening. All systems are go. Co2 tests last night were good. Just have to remember how i out the batteries in.
Now to complete the paint job on it . I am just waiting for a good day in April to sail test it. Or tub float it earlier.
The lakes are ice free here. I saw someone out by Grahams' grove last night in a canoe. Also they have a dock area built in the section of the grove where we battle.

Paul A0686 MATT # 63 HUMBROL ENAMEL is the paint color I used . Take the lifeboat in to compare to the can lid .

i realize one of the rudders is turned over. I have the rudder arm off as I am making an adjustment on the servo.
So tommorow I plan on testing the pump. I figure I will fill the inside of the PE and test how long it takes to pump out. Also to test to see if there are any leaks in the balsa.
Try testing it with the model level first, then tilt it port for a test , then starboard , then with the stern up a little to simulate the bow down and do the reverse to simulate the stern down.Great way to know how water flow behaves in your hull.
